Qatalum attends Career Fair for girl’s school

The representatives from Qatalum who spoke on their own operational roles stood as role models for the future career paths for young students and the future of human development within Qatar.


The Fair was very well attended

Qatalum attended the Career Fair for independent schools for girls in March 2016. Aligned with the 4 pillars of the Qatar National Vision 2030, the career fair was hosted to prepare girls in grade 7-9 for potential career opportunities.

Preceding the Career Fair, a survey was taken within the schools to divide the aptitude of the students within the main categories of, Services, Industry and Development.


Qatalum’s stand


Representing Qatalum were Meaad Al-Mousawi FA Planner, Casthouse, Badrya Al-Hammadi Developee, Procurement and Nazik Ahmed P & A Assistant, HR.

Present at the Fair were representative industries from the 3 category disciplines such as Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Foundation and Hamad Hospital to name a few.

Qatalum’s presence gathered much attention as the students were interested in Qatalum’s unique industrial position when compared to the core industries in Qatar’s oil and gas field. Of particular note were Qatalum’s diverse international customer base and the industries environmental credentials, such as the infinite recyclability of aluminium.
