To gear up for the hot summer season in the workplace, Qatalum officially launched this year's Heat Stress Awareness Campaign for both employees and contractors at the Service Center Lobby, on 24 April 2017.

In addition, Mr. Wigstoel pointed out the importance of complying with the Qatalum Heat Stress Management requirements by sharing an inspiring story of his previous work experience in Singapore. He noted,

"In my previous work experience in Singapore, I have seen a person faint when he was closer to the finish line due to dehydration. To avoid situations such as this, we must comply with all the requirements set by the Qatalum Heat Stress Management."
