Qatalum held a milestone event at the canteen on the 16th of December celebrating Qatar's National Day preceding the larger celebrations held annually all over Qatar on December 18th. A buffet themed with the Qatar national colours and special delicacies such as lobster and other barbecued meats were put on for all employees. The day was inaugurated by the CEO Khalid Laram with other management by a cake cutting ceremony. Mr. Khaled Mohammed Laram, Deputy CEO said on this occasion: "Witnessing Qatar's National Day is especially meaningful to Qatalum as we take this occasion to extend loyalty to our Nation. Qatalum's participation on this occasion furthers Qatar's National Vision 2030 towards which all of Qatalum's staff contribute."
