Qatalum strongly adheres to its commitment to social responsibility and values that goes beyond the company and embraces society as whole. In line with this, Qatalum arranged a CSR activity on 26th February 2019 to donate 100 used laptops to Abdurrahman Bin Jasim Preparatory School located at Al Wakra City. The students who received laptop were extremely elated.
The project was suggested by Communication Department. On this altruistic donation, Mr Ibrahim Jassim Fakhri, Qatalum's Communication Manager, expressed his appreciation saying "We at Qatalum are honoured to help the young talent which is the future of Qatar. These laptops will aid students excel academically for brighter future. They deserve the best we can give to them as a nation and the responsibility for this rests with each member of Qatar's society. This small contribution is truly reflective of our corporate ideals on the younger generation"
The school principal Mr. Mohammed Fakhroo principal of the school expressed deep gratitude to Qatalum for this. He said "We are grateful to have received thoughtful contribution from Qatalum to support our students. They are very happy. These laptops will undoubtedly boost their educational and personal development. We hope to receive this support from Qatalum in the future as well for all our students".
