Directives embedded into the Qatalum Way emphasise values that go beyond the company and embrace society as a whole. Today, Qatalum initiated supplying visually impaired students at the Al Noor Institute for the blind with new school bags in support of the new academic year 2014 - 2015.

Qatalum supports philanthropic projects, especially when they have a positive social impact on the community and the Nation.

These young students, citizens of Qatar, deserve the brightest future possible and as Qatalum we reflect our corporate ideals onto them – it's our professional responsibility. Each and every member of Qatar's society has a role to play and a contribution to make. With continued support from institutions and organisations like Al Noor, their noble efforts to enable people of Qatar will help them reach their full potential."

Mr Khalid Sayeed Al Sheaibi Director of Public Relations & Community Service at Al Noor Institute for the Blind, said, "We are very pleased to have received this gift from Qatalum for our students, who have expressed their happiness and gratitude. This support will undoubtedly add to our students' educational care and boost their educational and personal development. This move reflects the company's commitment to corporate social responsibility and community support and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Qatalum in the future to the benefit of all our students."
