The Qatalum project recruitment process is based on a local compensation & benefits package. Generous and competitive remuneration packages will be offered and extensive training programs have been developed.

For all categories of positions Qatalum will offer employees, who have completed a probationary period, an employment contract that is based on possession of a Qatari family status visa.

The terms and conditions include the following:

Hired by Qatalum on the basis of a local compensation & benefits package
Free family accommodation in modern furnished housing facilities in Mesaieed
No Qatari income tax payable

Training

Extensive training programs have been developed to prepare for the operation of this aluminium complex. Once in operation, Qatalum will develop its employees – in close cooperation with Qatar Petroleum – by using the professional training centers of the latter company.
